I love pictures like this, young soldiers barely out of their teens paying homage to an ancient warrior, veteran of another war, another generation. The looks of admiration on their young faces says it all,
“Can I live up to the standard this man has set?”
The man is Albert Brown, survivor of the Bataan Death March in the Phillipines, who reached the end of life’s journey Sunday at age 105. He was one one tough old bird. I stole the picture from
BigPeace.Com, where
you can read the rest of the story.
Good story and an inspiration to all.
