Oh Good, Health Care Reform

In 2010 the number of new jobs in the health care industry was simply phenomenal. New jobs overall was pretty pathetic, of course, and the number of people without health insurance increased to 52 million. Way to go Democrats.

Do not Republicant Party members get no credit? Did not the Republicant Party participate in the writing of the law? Did not the Republicant Party decide USA citizen do not deserve to be covered and treated?

Give credit where credit is due.

  2. The Rubs almost universally voted no on it.

The health insurance industry is responding as the banks did after the CARD Act was passed with a waiting period - ie, they raised fees, dropped accounts, made it harder to get new ones, etc.

If business finds it harder to make a profit, or make monoey at all, it will find ways to increase that revenue, decrease costs or cease business. Health care insurers and providers are no exception.
