Picking the Playoffs

Picking the Seahawks is pretty easy. Green Bay possibly could beat them in the 12th man stadium, but they won't.

I am, however, going to go against the odds and pick the Colts to win in New England. The Patriots only rushed for 14 yards last week, and the Colts defense is as good against the run as the Ravens. More to the point, the Colts will play pass defense, which the Ravens did not.

I agree with the first. If Aaron Rogers is 100% (he isn't) they'll give them a run for their money, but the advantage is Seahawks.

Normally, I'd go with the Patriots in Foxboro, but they've been squirrelly in the playoffs of late. Last game they had a 14 pt defict not once, but twice? That's not good. They came bak, yes, but I think they got lucky. That might work against a team like the Colts, but not on the Seahawks.

Of course, you know the old saying, anything can happen.

  2. Okay, having watched both games, I see two years in a row, the NFC championship game was the game to watch. Up until the last 1/2 of the 4th qtr, I thought Green Bay had it in the bag. They controlled the game, Seattle was inept, and then.... Boom. The onside kick was fumbled, recovered and then victory was snatched from thin air. Seattle got lucky, and both teams did what they had to to win, but only one did. I agree with Aaron Rodgers, I think SB was the better team for 7/8 of the game, but Seattle did it at the end. The AFC game was as expected, a blowout.

I hope this years Super Bowl game is competitive.
