Lets get concrete. The current administration has already demonstrated a willingness to expose classified information and ruin the careers of innocent, dedicated citizens in order to get even - to get even with someone whose only offense was openly questioning administration "facts" about going to war.

This same administration has demonstrated a willingness to use the US legal system to investigate and attempt to bring charges against their political opponents, as well as a willingness to fire any member of the judicial branch for being honest and decent enough to refuse to do so.

This administration now has unfettered access to almost every detail of the private lives of anyone living in the United States. Does anyone actually believe that they will suddenly develop a conscience? Does anyone honestly believe that use will be reserved for "terrorists"? The 2008 elections are going to be a whole new ball game. Anyone who isn't running on the Republican ticket should expect every detail of their life to potentilly be subject to public scrutiny (via anonymous sources, of course). If this isn't sufficient, they should be ready for their friends, neighbors and loved one's lives to become public property as well.

We have given great power to men who have demonstrated many times over that they are capable of great evil.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32512109.post-1155738093237922252006-08-16T07:21:00.000-07:002006-08-16T07:21:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32512109.post-1155738828277359752006-08-16T07:33:00.000-07:002006-08-16T07:33:00.000-07:00jayhawk,I am jayeye, "who knows what?" blog. It is amazing how closely they follow each other from thought to thought. We seem to be on the same track in many ways. I must say it is good to see that I am not alone. Now all we have to do is get our thoughts over to the general public. I often wonder how to get my blog read by more than my closest friends. :) Any suggestions? We should link up to each other at any rate. Mine is "sowhoknowswhat.blogger.com" Contact me at ji@jimsmedia.com if you would like.

Let's hope that someone besides these robots that send out advertisements will read our blogs. We both have very good things to tell these numbskulls that call themselves Americans. A true name for our citizens should be US Americans. We are citizens of the United States of America, not Central American or South American, or Canadian, we are US-Americans.jayeyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10122695956875270168noreply@blogger.com
